Our Expert Guide will take you on one of the most requested tours in the area, an exciting rafting adventure along the lower Manzo River - an ideal adventure for those taking their first mountain river rafting trip, as well as the whole family. You'll enjoy sandy beaches, exciting rapids, and all the splendor of the Andean-Patagonian forests. No previous experience is required!
After a brief safety chat from our head-guide, we'll be ready to begin our descent down the Manso River. Surrounded by high peaks and lush vegetation, our raft will be carried by the current while we observe the National Park's fascinating flora: coihue, cypress, arrayán maitén, radal, caña colihue, chilco, and more. We will also be able to see birds like the kingfisher, mandolin, bustard, and tero. The crystal clear waters will allow us to observe a variety of trout.
After approximately one and a half hours of rafting, we'll stop on a beautiful sandy beach, where our guides will prepare us a delicious lunch. We'll enjoy a variety of fresh food: bread, dressings, cold meats, vegetables, fruits, something sweet, and juice.
Around 3 p.m. we will get back on the river. From here, the Manso becomes increasingly exciting. Uvasal, Banda de Billar, Diente de Hipopótamo, Montaña Rusa and Roca Magnética are some of the rapids that we will venture through. Our journey ends upon arrival to the Lower Manso Valley.
Our return vehicle will be waiting for us at Campo Piedra Pintada. After changing into some dry clothes, we'll delight in a delicious snack next to the barbecue, before returning to Bariloche.
Note: Minimum age: 5 years. Low season until December 14th. Class II and III rapids.
