Our Expert Guides will lead you on an exciting tour through Cerra Ventanta in a 4x4 car. We will travel down the old Abra mining road and take time to tour the lush Parque Provincial Forest, Villa Serrana la Gruta, and the Nuestra Señora de Fátima Sanctuary.
We will discover the history of the "pampas" or "puelches" that inhabited the region before the arrival of colonists, and have the unique opportunity to experience a cultural interpretation of the area and enjoy open, high altitude landscapes, while trying traditional mate and delicious serrano alfajores.
We will visit the base of Cerro La Ventana (The Window Hill) that owes its name to the natural opening found on its summit, a geological formation that attracts curious visitors from all parts of the world.
On our way back, we'll explore the fascinating 120 hectare complex of the Ex Club Hotel. This property began as a hospital, but soon was transformed into a luxury hotel complex. Here, you'll discover the history of its prime, the famous guests who visited, and the circumstances that led to its downfall.
