Our Expert Guide will accompany you on a breathtaking journey through Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. Located in the middle of the city, Tijuca Forest boasts a fantastic, well-preserved green space featuring stunning views of Rio de Janeiro!
Our adventure begins as we make our way to the top of Pedra Bonita, a massive green mountain that stands about 2,300 feet above sea level. We'll enjoy hiking along an easy trail for about 40 minutes before being welcomed by an astonishing view. Pedra Bonita's peak is so high up that even the impressive Dois Irmãos Mountain seems small! From here, you will appreciate picture-perfect views of some of Rio's most iconic attractions, including Christ the Redeemer, São Conrado Beach, and Barra da Tijuca.
Next, we will continue on by driving to a striking viewpoint known as "Vista Chinesa". Vista Chinesa is a monument built more than a hundred years ago to pay tribute to the Chinese immigrants. This spectacular lookout features unmatched panoramas and a unique perspective of Rio’s landscapes. In addition to even more impressive views of Christ the Redeemer and the famous Dois Irmãos Mountain, Vista Chinesa displays Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, Sugarloaf, Guanabara Bay, Ipanema Beach, and Leblon like you've never seen them before.
After a great day getting in touch with nature, we'll still have time for one last activity – a 15 minute walk to explore Tijuca National Park's main waterfall. This dazzling rushing waterfall is sure to leave a lasting impression!
Join us as we venture into some of Rio's most pristine green spaces, discovering incredible views of the city and its most important landmarks while enjoying a day in the great outdoors.
