Our expert trekking guides will lead you on an awe-inspiring hike to see the famous El Morado Glacier. Few people know that close to the city of Santiago, you can actually see colossal glaciers, huge mountain ranges, perfect landscapes, of course, the infamous El Morado Glacier!
Along this trek, you will see breathtaking landscapes, peaks as high as 18,000ft, and several other glaciers beside the mythical El Morado Glacier - all of which will leave you believing and seeing with your own eyes how magnificent the Chilean outdoors can really be. In the middle of our trek, we will stop for a tasty packed lunch, and enjoy the amazing views that surround us.
El Morado is a hanging glacier which falls into a lagoon below its tall walls. When pieces of the glacier fall, they form smaller icebergs that float in the lagoon. This is a spectacular site to behold, and one that comes with crashing sounds that you can hear off in the distance.
