This tour starts in the Plaza de Armas and moves along the waterfront to the pier of Ancud. First we will visit the San Antonio Fort, built between 1778 and 1779 to protect the city from military and pirate attacks. Although the fort is rather small, it makes up for its size with the overflowing history and legends that surround it.
We will continue to the Huaihuén Hill viewpoint and Arena Gruesa Beach to enjoy beautiful scenery and views. Afterwards, we will head to the Ancud Regional Museum where you will see a fascinating display of the archipelago of Chiloé's valuable heritage.
