Our Expert Guide will take you on a tour through Acuy Island, exploring its beautiful landscapes and natural wonders.
This small island is located 10 nautical miles from Queilen, and has a population of no more than approximately 100 inhabitants. These inhabitants are mostly indigenous descendants of the Chonos, living off fishing and algae extraction. The island measures a mere 2 km. long and some 500 meters wide.
The biggest attractions you will find here are "Las Torres" (rocks eroded by wind and tides), extensive sandy beaches, and the beautiful view of the mountain range that, along with the Michimahuida, Corcovado, and Chaiten Volcanoes, create a spectacular site to photograph.
Upon our return to Queilen, you will enjoy a delicious local seafood tasting accompanied by three sauces, white wine, drinks, or water. A perfect end to our exciting journey.
