Our Expert Guide will take us on a 4 day adventure along the route the Jesuits traveled during the colonization. We will navigate Todos los Santos Lake and Rupanco Lake on kayaks, while learning about and visiting the ancient forests of southern of Chile.
The first lake we´ll explore is Llanquihue Lake while enjoying the forests and wildlife that surround us. We will camp on a quiet beach where we'll have dinner and relax around the campfire.
The next day, we will paddle to El Rincón Beach where we will set up our new camp. Before we get there, we will float down the rivers, while we observe breathtaking views of Osorno, Puntiagudo and Tronador Volcanoes.
A stunning native forest awaits us on the third day. The hike is non-strenuous because we will have mules carrying our supplies throughout the journey. On this part of the adventure we will first cross suspension bridges to arrive at a local farm. Here, the farmers will welcome us with food, tea and conversation. In the evening you can enjoy relaxing in a cozy hot tub. For dinner we will try the specialty of the house: Cordero al Palo (roast lamb) under a star-studded sky.
Perhaps you've seen several waterfalls throughout your life, but you have not seen Las Mellizas! During the fourth day you can walk behind the waterfall and climb up to the source of the river. In the afternoon, we´ll walk to the hot springs of Callao where you can combine warm thermal waters with the cold river pools. A unique experience that will finish off with camping next to the hot springs
