Our Expert Guide will take us to La Mesa Hill, where we will see stunning view from its summit, in addition to discovering the relationship the native people have with the hills.
We begin this journey in Boca Budi, where we'll appreciate Budi Lake and the sea, and at certain times of the year, it is possible to see how these two come together. We will continue bordering the sea, following the path that has been formed there, and that the Mapuche people used in the past, when they extracted products from the sea and accessed Puerto Saavedra. Following this route, we will arrive at La Mesa Hill, where during the 1960 tsunami, a Mapuche child was sacrificed, hoping that this would calm the waters. This Hill is recognized as Tren Tren, meaning that it grows when the waters rise, saving those atop it.
Discover a magical place, where you can find the country's most numerous native population, a population that still keeps their ancient traditions alive in the midst of a landscape with adverse climate and dream-like scenery.
Join us on a journey through a place full of mysticism and stories to discover!
