Our Expert Guide will take you on an exciting Condor watching and horseback riding excursion in the midst of the Andes Mountains.

The Andean Condor (Vultur gryphus) is undoubtedly one of the greatest symbols of the Andes, the mountain chain that runs along the American continent from Venezuela to Chile. Condors have become the patriotic emblem in almost all Andean countries, but unfortunately its population has drastically decreased in most of them, except for Chile and Argentina. Chile and Argentina have a variety of Condor conservation programs, and there are even certain places where large groups of Condors can still be found hunting for carrion.

The Colorado River, just forty minutes from Santiago, creates the ideal environment for Condors – towering mountains which provide shelter; carrion due to livestock farming, and air currents, which help Condors fly without using much energy.

During our horseback ride, we will reach a spectacular viewpoint where we'll be able to see Condors flying very close to us. You'll get to experience first hand the incredible sensation of witnessing the massive bird, with a 3 meter wingspan, soar over beautiful mountains and imposing volcanoes.

Join us for this incredible experience, connecting one on one with the amazing natural flora and fauna of the Andes Mountains!
