Our Expert Guide will take us on a fascinating tour to discover the secrets of Santiago, the capital of Chile. The tour begins in La Moneda (the presidential palace), from where we will visit the old Congress building and Plaza de Armas, also known as the ground zero of the city. From here, we will explore the old Cathedral of Santiago, one of the first to be built in the country, and the Central Market, where you'll find delicious sea food to enjoy.
We will explore Mapocho Station, Santiago's old train station, which today has been converted into a cultural center. Afterwards, we will visit the National Gallery and Santa Lucia Hill, known as Huelén by the Mapuches, Chile's native people.
After an extensive walk through the historical areas of Santiago, we will go to San Cristóbal Hill, from where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the city with the Andes Mountains in the background. To finish off we'll visit Bellavista, a bohemian neighborhood full of pubs and nightclubs making it a must-see in Santiago.
