Your Expert Private Guide will take you on a three and a half hour walking tour through the main streets of Valparaíso, discovering fascinating stories and local legends.
We will pass by Plaza Aníbal Pinto, take the Queen Victoria elevator, visit the beautiful Gervasoni and Akinson pathways, and see the El Mercurio building, home to one of Chile's main newspapers. You'll learn the history of the famous Turri Clock as we explore Valparaíso's main avenues of Prat, Cochrane, and Esmeralda.
We will also take another elevator, known as El Peral, to get to Yogoslavo Boulevard, a beautiful place with amazing views of the sea, and home to the Museum of Fine Arts of Valparaiso. You'll discover the "Cruise Ship House", Bavestrello Pathway, the streets of Urriola and Prat, as well as the famous Plaza Sotomayor, where one of Chile's biggest New Years parties takes place.
Finally we will head to Serrano Street, and visit the Heroes of Iquique Monument, dedicated to the soldiers who died in battle during the Pacific War between Bolivia, Peru and Chile, more than a hundred years ago.
