Description

Our Expert Guide will pick you up right at your hotel (or at the airport if you have an extended layover) and head to Monserrate, the beautiful old monastery that looks down on Bogotá. We'll take a ride up to Monserrate, tour the sanctuary, take in the views from 2,000 feet above Bogotá, and bargain with the many local artisans.

After the ride down, we'll continue on to the Candelaria area and walk through Plaza Bolivar and past the President's Palace, before taking a break for a delicious lunch at a traditional Bogotá restaurant. After lunch, we'll visit the Botero Museum to see the famous painter's works, including a thunder-jowled Mona Lisa. This museum also includes works by Picasso, Monet, Renoir, and Matisse. Next, we'll stop for a cup of coffee at a local coffee shop, and walk to the Gold Museum to marvel at the 30,000 pre-Colombian gold artifacts.

Join us on a tour of Old Bogotá's most iconic sites!

Note: The Gold Museum is closed on Mondays.
