Our Expert Guide will take you on an exciting journey through the Colombian wilderness to witness the desert's perfect harmony with the sea. This Punta Gallinas tour gives you time to appreciate the natural beauty and spectacular landscapes of La Guajira. You will also visit the northern-most point of South America where you'll marvel at the best view of the Caribbean Sea from Punta Gallinas' lighthouse.

The adventure begins on the road to Manaure, in the middle of the desert. In Manaure, Colombia's largest salt complex, we will enjoy a guided tour to learn about the salt extraction process. Afterwards, we'll head to Uribia, Colombia indigenous capital, where we'll take some time to get a better understanding of the town. Then, we'll continue on to Cabo de la Vela, to later visit Rainbow Beach, Pilón de Azúcar, and the lighthouse where we'll watch a beautiful sunset. That night we will return to our accommodation and spend the night in hammocks.

The second day, we'll set out on the desert road to Punta Gallinas, cruising past Honda Bay and Hondita Bay, finally reaching the enigmatic Punta Gallinas for lunch. Here, we'll take some time to rest and visit Honda Bay where we'll marvel at the spectacular waterways that surround the golden sands of the desert. Later, we'll explore Punta Gallinas' lighthouse, the northern-most point of South America, and enjoy a marvelous sunset before returning to our accommodation for dinner and to spend the night.

On the third day we will visit the Taroa Dunes, a beautiful landscape with fine sand mounds that we can ride down to the sea. After enjoying the dunes, we'll return to Riohacha.

Join us and discover the magic of Colombia's desert!
