Join a team of marine biologists, ecologists and naturalists, on a guided whale watching expedition, while listening to outstanding commentary about the local environment. In this amazing experience, our team of Whale Research Experts will share real-time insight into whales’ ecology and behavior, while collecting scientific data for their ongoing research and conservation projects.
During our whale encounters, we may observe whales spouting while cruising along, or powerfully breaching and tail slapping while playing with each other. It's breeding season in the Mexican Pacific, so there is a lot going on! If lucky enough, we may find females nursing their calves, or maybe listen to the intriguing songs performed by males as part of their courtship ritual with our on-board hydrophone.
Join us on this expedition and discover how whales live in the midst of their natural habitat!
Note: By taking part in this expedition you are contributing directly to marine research and monitoring activities led by Onca Explorations and its partners for the conservation of whales and dolphins in this important region of the Mexican Pacific and Gulf of California.
