Our Expert Guide will take you on a full-day journey in the heart of a private 250 hectares reserve which offers visitors the opportunity to discover the natural wonders of the Mayan World while also learning about the richness of this ancient culture.
Your tour begins with a friendly welcome from our staff and a delicious continental breakfast. You will then receive some information from your knowledgeable guide about the geological formation of cenotes and get equipped all the necessary equipment to start our adventure.
You'll begin with quick 5 minute bike ride leading to an open cenote called Péepem Ch’ooh, meaning "blue butterfly". Here, you'll be able to swim and snorkel, and even dare to take a 9-meter jump into the waters of this great sinkhole. Our tour continues as you either walk or bike towards the semi-open Cenote Úurich . Here you will also have the chance to swim and snorkel.
Next, we'll continue on bicycle to the open Cenote Chéel, meaning "rainbow". Here, you can also swim, jump in the water, and go snorkeling. Finally, we'll head to one of the most impressive cenotes around, known as Suhuy. This closed cenote features stunning stalagmites and stalactites, and provides a the perfect location for swimming and snorkeling in the dark.
Afterwards, we'll bike back to the main ranch where an exquisite Yucatecan lunch awaits us, including appetizers, soup, a main course, dessert, and non-alcoholic beverages. After lunch, you'll visit the Ceiba, a sacred Maya tree, and learn a bit more about the Maya legends. Lastly, you'll return to the ranch and enjoy some coffee or tea before heading back to Merida.
