Description

Our Expert Guides will take you horseback riding through different archaeological sites in Cusco. We will begin at our private ranch, where we will provide the horses and equipment according to your experience and needs. We will teach you how to control the horse, use safety equipment, and prepare for the ride. Once accommodated, we will begin our adventure!

We will first visit Kenko, an ancient Inca amphitheater, whose name comes from the quechua word meaning "maze". You will discover the particular form of its underground galleries, a place full of passageways and corners that will fascinate you.

We will continue to Puca Pucara, meaning “red fortress”, an old military building located six kilometers from the city of Cusco. It is called “red fortress” for the limestone with which it is built and that, with the passing of time, has been acquiring a reddish color during twilight.

Our adventure will continue on to Tambomachay, also known as “Baños del Inca”. Although it is considered one of the favorite Inca spas, it stands out more for being one of the pillars of defense in the Valley of Cusco, and the epicenter of the Andean cosmovision.

Towards the end of our journey, you will visit Sacsayhuaman, one of the more eye-catching Inca constructions. Its name means “satisfied falcon”, and it's considered to be a fort that guarded the capital of the empire.

On this journey, you will learn about the past of the incredible Inca culture, and take memorable photos of some of the most iconic places in Peru.

Join us for a historical and cultural tour, full of learning, fun, and adventure!
