Our Expert Guide will lead you on an amazing adventure cruising the Amazon River, hiking through the jungle, feeding manatees, visiting Indian tribes, and seeing monkeys, jaguars, snakes, macaws, and cayman.
We will begin our journey departing from Bellavista Nanay River, where we'll be able to observe a huge variety of products from the region, as well as traditional local dishes.
We'll then take our boat to sail the waters of the mighty Amazon River to reach Fundo Pedrito. Here, you'll be able to admire, as well as feed, crocodiles, piranhas, and paiche. We'll also see Victoria Regia, the largest aquatic plant in the world.
Afterwards, we'll head to one of the Yagua tribe colonies to learn all about their fascinating culture. You'll take part in traditional ceremonial dances and even learn how to use a blowgun. This is the perfect place to take impressive photos or purchase some locally-made handicrafts as souvenirs of your wonderful experience.
Next, we'll hop back in our boat and set off to Monkey Island for lunch while we enjoy watching pink dolphins swim and play in the river. While visiting Monkey Island, you'll be able to observe a variety of different monkey species as well as other wild animals that are well cared for before being released into their natural habitat. Coatis, macaws, parrots, monkeys, and giant anacondas fill this exotic location, making it a "must-see" destination.
On our way back to the city, we'll first sail to a village and hike up a long, steep incline from the river bank. Here, you'll enjoy hiking through the jungle to see a huge tree, which is in fact the largest in the Amazon jungle, called the Ceiba. We'll continue our hike delving deeper into the thick jungle to observe unique insects and even crossing a small stream using a wooden bridge. After, we'll head back to the village to appreciate some of our final views of the incredible river, taking it all in one last time.
Join us on the adventure of a lifetime, exploring the wonders of Peru's Amazon Jungle.
