Our Expert Motorcycle Guides will take you on an incredible motorcycle tour from Downtown Los Angeles out to San Pedro, across to Palos Verdes, and down to California's beautiful Beach Cities to discover the wonders of Southern California!
Get ready for a ride where you will discover some of the best sights California, while cruising along famous roads, and experiencing the thrill of driving next to the Pacific Coast, along L.A.'s most prestigious freeways, and through dreamy canyon roads.
Our favorite route from Pasadena to Downtown Los Angeles is via the 110 Freeway AKA the Arroyo Seco Freeway as there used to be a twisty river. Hill Street will take us through Chinatown (not as typical as San Francisco Chinatown though) to the heart of the old city: Olvera Street. This ride is one of the most historical rides of all and it offers a great opportunity to learn or to be reminded of the Hispanic origins of the city of Angels. After parking under and walking through the grandiose Union Station, we will show you around and for about a couple of hours we will tour the Mexican market of Olvera Street, la Placita where the city saw major pro-soviet demonstrations in the 30’s, the old Church of Our Lady of the Angels, The Pico House, the Siquieros mural and finally la Plaza Museum that tells the whole story.
Our next stop is the most unbelievable contemporary religious construction west of…Europe! The Cathedral of Los Angeles is an amazing place for the believer and the non-believer alike. A place to breeze a special kind of air… the kind that inspires you. Forms and lines and material are just superb. Then we keep going South to San Pedro Harbor, the economic lung of L.A. and the bigger industrial port of the USA. But don't let that fool you, San Pedro has become a very quaint community… Cabrillo Marina, Ports o cal, Warehouse 10 and Point Fermin with a stop at Walker’s Cafe open a totally different chapter to this ride.
Our last leg is all about the Pacific and beach communities, going up along the coast through Rancho Palos Verdes and the beach cities of Redondo, Hermosa and Manhattan… expect to see a very authentic piece of the SoCal beach culture. More stops and high viewpoints looking over the Queen's Necklace.
Come ride with us on this spectacular tour where you will be able to snap many great pictures, hear about the locations, enjoy our guided motorcycle ride, and have a blast all along the way!
