Our Motorcycle Tour Experts will take you on one of the most memorable rides of your life! This ride requires some Freeway riding which shouldn't be a problem because Southern California freeways, and especially those to the East and South, are just another wonder of the region. These freeways travel through wide open territories and have a sense of true freedom; all to the great satisfaction of riders coming from around the world!
We will start our journey by taking Cajalco Road, which goes from East to West over a wide hilly plateau bordered to the north by the San Bernardino Mountains. Here we have our own special path sculpted by our team, that will take us to the 74 Freeway, onto the City of Lake Elsinore, and past a winding but fun road going through the deep south of Southern California. Along the way, we will pass by the beautiful Lake Elsinore.
To give you a little background, Lake Elsinore was established as a city in 1888 and is on the shore of Lake Elsinore. Lake Elsinore is a natural freshwater lake about 3,000 acres in size. The lake was discovered by the expedition of Juan Bautista de Anza, and is the largest natural lake in Southern California; first seen by the Spanish Franciscan padre Juan Santiago. Franciscan was exploring eastward from the Mission San Juan Capistrano in 1797 when he came across the lake with de Anza.
Slightly more recently, during World War II, the lake was used to test seaplanes, and a Douglas Aircraft plant making wing assemblies for B-17 bombers was located in the city. The lake ran dry during most of the 1950s and was refilled in the early 1960s. Despite its relatively small African American population, Lake Elsinore has the distinction of electing the first black mayor in California. Tom Yarborough was elected in 1966, three years before Douglas Dollarhide became the mayor of Compton.
Come join us on this amazing Southern California motorcycle ride as we explore the many freeways, Laker Elsinore, San Bernardino mountains, and more. This is a motorcycle trip you won't want to miss, and one that is always memorable for our guests!
